Over the past year our chair of trustees, Matt Wilson, has been working on a research project sitting at the intersection of theology and economics. He’s been trying to understand what models the bible might offer faith based common change groups in terms of growing together into a more healthy relationship with money.
Matt’s work seeks to illuminate what “God’s Economics” looks like, and how we might deal with the problems that arise when it jars (as it inevitably does) against the economy of the world around us. In the recently published 4-session resource for small groups, Matt shows how a renewed imagination around our money and possessions can open doors of opportunity through which we can participate more fully in the mission of God.
The resource is ideal for people of faith in existing Common Change groups as well as for those new to Common Change or just exploring the possibilities of forming a new group.
